Banda Aceh (Aentenews) – The One-stop investment and integrated Services office (DPMPTSP) of the Indonesia’s westernmost province of Aceh and management of the country’s Garuda Airlines discussed a collaboration opportunities in supporting the export of small scale industries products.
Head of the provincial (DPMPTSP) office, Rahmadhani and the Garuda management in the discussion taking place here on Wednesday, mentioned about featured products for the export purpose including promotion of the local special culinary and perfume products.
The collaboration is expected to make use of the Garuda airlines in a bid to speed up the distribution of products of the provincial small scale industries paticularly for the international market, he said.
Rahmadhani further said, the DPMPTSP office continued supporting the ecosystem for the development and improvement of the competitiveness of the small scale industries.
In addition, with the wide range of promotion, the Aceh provincial featured products is expected to penetrate foreign countries market which then led to the positif impact to the provincsial economic growth.
Previously, the small scale industry in Aceh had exported some 19.2 tons of coffee product to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Aceh province shares borders with three countries namely Malaysia, Thailand and India (through Andaman and Nicobar Islands).// Aentenews by Bustanuddin.
